One of the world's largest producers and distributors of motion pictures, 20th Century Fox Film (TCFF) produces, acquires and distributes motion pictures throughout the world. These motion pictures are produced or acquired by the following units of 20th Century Fox Film: Twentieth Century Fox, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox International Productions, and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. During fiscal 2017, TCFF placed 25 motion pictures in general release in the United States. The motion pictures produced and/or distributed by TCFF in the United States and international territories in fiscal 2017 included Hidden Figures, Logan, Jackie, and The Boss Baby. TCFF has released or currently plans to release approximately 23 motion pictures in the United States in fiscal 2018.


Fox Home Entertainment is seeking an experienced media professional to join our Marketing Communications team as Executive Director, Media.  This position will help drive our Media strategy, planning and buying for all Fox Home Entertainment titles. The focus will be on driving and executing innovative and effective media strategies across numerous media channels including, but not limited to, television, print, digital, mobile and out-of-home to drive awareness and consumption of our properties. This role will work closely with the brand marketing team as well as content development, social, performance, global, and leadership teams to establish and implement media best practices. The successful candidate will also draw upon strong project management skills to ensure flawless execution of campaigns.  This role will report to the VP, Media.


  • Oversight of strategy, budgeting and execution for media campaigns across all Fox Home Entertainment New Release, Catalog, TV, and Acquisition titles
  • Heavily influence the media target and strategy for each media campaign across all media types including TV (National and Local), Radio, Print, OOH, Online, Sponsorships, etc
  • Develop actionable insights from data to inform programmatic and online media strategies to drive consumption of Digital on key retailers
  • Act as a main point of contact for multiple partner agencies
  • Collaborates closely with senior leadership team in Marketing Communications and Brand Marketing teams, as well as with colleagues across the organization in Legal, IT, Research, and Sales
  • Present media campaigns to Brand Teams, Management, as well as Key Partners for approval
  • Leverages data and marketing analytics to optimize campaigns, gain insights, set KPI’s and communicate the campaign results to senior management and stakeholders
  • Interface directly with networks, affiliates and partners to develop new advertising programs and opportunities
  • Work alongside global advertising and media planning teams on regional/global projects
  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to internally navigate complex organizations
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a fast and lean work environment
  • Strong project management skills to manage internal and external creative deliverable timelines
  • Construct, develop and present competitive analysis
  • Keep finger on the pulse of trends, innovation and emerging platforms
  • Measure media performance to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met


  • 8-10 years of media agency and/or client media marketing experience
  • Strong planning background with the ability to lead the media planning process
  • Offline and Online media experience
  • Proven project management skills
  • Analytically savvy with strong quantitative skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong partnership skills with demonstrated ability to work with various internal teams to execute big ideas
