We are looking to hire an In-App Content Editor for FOX+ (Asia’s new video streaming service that brings together all the very best entertainment from 21st Century Fox and other Hollywood studios into one easy to use app. You’ll find programmes from: FX, FOX, National Geographic, 20th Century Fox films, Fox Searchlight Pictures, FOX Sports and more).
In this role, you will work the content strategy and planning team to create an overall positive in-app user experience. You possess excellent writing skills, as well as understand the special considerations in writing for OTT (over-the-top) users on various mobile devices & intimately understand how copy & graphics move, engage, captivate & excite users. Another requisite for success in this role is strong understanding of how local social media & app-user behavior plays an important role in driving user engagement.

An avid entertainment news media consumer, you will have an ear to the ground of the goings-on in the industry & be wired to the latest news & developments. Working closely with content curators, this knowledge will assist you to create relevant copy & visuals to best position the Fox+ brand. In addition to creating original copy, work closely with copy contributors who provide in-app graphics and key arts & direct/guide the overall tonality of Fox+ content which is both engaging & riveting & promotes user loyalty/retention. This role also partners closely with programming, graphics and marketing teams.
The incumbent is expected to be self-directed & work autonomously and be well-informed about customer behavioral patterns on a daily basis.
