Fox Television Stations, LLC is seeking a Labor Relations Attorney in New York City. This position will report to the Vice President of Labor Relations serving multiple television stations throughout the country. Responsibilities include negotiating collective bargaining agreements, advising management on the administration of and compliance with collective bargaining agreements, representing management in grievance meetings and arbitration hearings and proceedings before the NLRB or in court, counseling management on employee discipline, reviewing and drafting collective bargaining agreements, bargaining proposals, grievance resolutions and various written communications and legal documents, analyzing financial impact of collective bargaining agreement provisions and bargaining proposals and legal research as necessary. Other duties assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate.
Candidate should possess law degree with at least 3 years of experience in labor law and labor relations. Experience in collective bargaining negotiations and grievance and arbitration proceedings. Employment law experience helpful. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to plan and carry out responsibility with minimum oversight.
